Seen here is a lower chin cowl and side cowling for an early model P-38 after final assembly and fit up. The next step will would be to go to our detail shop for the final exterior finish, either painting or bare aluminum finishing.

The early P-38 internal oil cooler airducts in fabrication. We start with shaping the two halves of the air duct and then we gas weld the assembly together. The next step is fitup onto the exterior skin.
