The main restoration shop consists of 15,000 sq ft, with state of the art lighting, complete heating and air conditioning. It consists of disassembly/assembly area, sheet metal fabrication shop, welding shop, machine shop, latest in paint booth designs, dirty room and hardware room.
The main restoration shop was designed to be able to fit a fighter into the shop to facilitate the final assembly prior to being moved into the main hangar for the start of operational checks.
